Welcome. I’m Sara – an avid, eager, hungry food enthusiast. From the crunch to the sizzle to the slurp, food has the ability to be a science, tickle our taste buds, abate malnutrition, and so much more.

I especially enjoy the South Asian cuisine – its use of a myriad of colorful, flavorful spices (such as cumin, hence the blog name!) combined with other aromatic ingredients give it the ability to transport and transform the eater.

Alas, food is food is food. Every dish, regardless of type, has a story. Join me as we read together a book scented of crushed cumin.
